Re: Adult Icon and PPV channels not going away

I'm about over directv...I've been a customer for 15 years and thinking I'm discontinuing. Many new issues but final straw is the Adult channels not being REMOVABLE from the guide. I don't order Adult channels or any of the HBO, Showtimes, etc...but I can block/remove the premium movie channels from the guide by selecting "channels I get" but I cannot remove the Adult channels from my guide.  The only solution is to put parental ratings on with 4 digit access code so now, I not only have "blocked title" on the Adult channels that I do not ever subscribe to, I also have "blocked title" all over my guide even for the channels I want to see...so really, what good is the guide at all??? I do not want parental guides on my tv or guide, I just do not want to READ the very disgusting Adult channel titles, or worse, to have my beginner-reader grandchildren read them. They are supervised as to what they watch, but I cant even scroll down the guide without having to read these disgusting porn titles...Titles (and content) that should be illegal as they reference illegal child porn and incestuous activities in the most disgusting terms.....  It should be illegal, I don't care if the "actors" are of age if they are "acting" in films that "imply" they are engaged in under-aged illegal activity, which evidently, Directv is promoting.... Customers should be able to set up the GUIDE to "channels I get" and have it really be the channels they get!  "Blocking" the titles to the channels I do order and watch is not an acceptable solution! So in order to view the R rated movies, I have to enter the code which puts me back to square one; having to read the disgusting titles of the Adult channels just a few clicks away from the channels I subscribe to...  Even when setting up CUSTOM?FAVE list, the boxes for the Adult channels are unchecked but they STILL REMAIN IN THE GUIDE.....   That's ****!!!! And I'm paying too much for it!       P.S. ....seriously?  DTV permits the titles they do but the monitor asterisked my end comment of "That's Baloney" because instead of "baloney", I used the word that rhymes with "map"  HA
