Correct. DirecTV does not offer both the East and West Coast feeds of some of the cable networks. They do provide them for a few, like NIK, Disney, HBO, Showtime, etc. Some of these networks repeat their shows in 3-hour blocks to get around the problem you're having, but TBS doesn't. A DVR is the sure-fire fix because you can watch those shows at your schedule instead of the networks'.
